Could they run the table in the 2015 regular season and win out in today's playoff era?

I'll take Mizzou's 2007 offense paired with last seasons defense.

Run the table?

Yes. Mizzou would beat every team in the SEC handily with those combined squads.

Win out?

Again, yes. The Ohio States of the world could not handle such an offensive attack coupled with that defense.

National Champs, print the shirts.

Agreed, but I think just about every team could run the table with their best ever offense and defense.

ETA: I think I would take the '13 defense. Auburn game aside. That was game plan, not players.

LSU's 2013 offense paired with LSU's 2011 defense would destroy every team on the schedule

Our 01 team was top 5 in both scoring offense and scoring defense.

It would be last years offense and the 1998 defense. The '98 defense was the best in the nation and took us to the SECCG, despite not having a good offense. Seeing where the team finished last year, they could definitely get the job done.

Petrino's 2011 (2010 would work too) offense - last year's defense. Pretty much both of our 2010-2011 seasons would've been on the cusp of a national championship if we had a top level - or even mid level - defense like last season. 2011 would've been our best opportunity for that and we were ranked #3 behind Bama and LSU going into the final game of the season. We finished the year ranked #5, and that was with a patchwork defense that had NO stars whatsoever. Arkansas will never have a stifling defense due to our recruiting disadvantages, but last season is about as close as we've gotten in as long as I can remember.

LSU (2013 Offense) with (2011 Defense) would be awesome.

I would imagine Bama fans would choose 2011 D over 1992? Bama best D with their best offense would be hard to beat as well.

1996 offense and 2008 defense.

Could have went with the 2008 offense, but man, that 96 offense was basically unstoppable, with one of the best passing attacks in the land along with Fred Taylor and Elijah Williams at RB. Also thought about the 2001 offense.

They would have annihilated everyone.

I want to say the 2006 Offense ( only weakness is meh running game because Addai graduated, Vincent parties at Bogies, and Broussard got injured. Still had Hester though! )

Jamarcus Russell
Dwayne Bowe
Craig Buster Davis
Early Doucet
Brandon Lafell ( I think he redshirted though)
Trindon Holiday
Brett Helms
Healthy Ciron Black

2011 BEAST Defense

PROFIT

Our 2011 defense would probably have won it all regardless of which offense you pair with it.

I think our 2008 offense and last years defense combined could have made it to the playoffs.

'97 offense.

Manning and Jamal Lewis.

5 time MVP and a 2000 yard rusher. No big deal.

2001 defense.

Henderson and Haynesworth. I think they still have pieces of Grossmans jersey wrapped arouns their dicks.
