-Dallas Baker "The Touchdown Maker"
that was always a favorite for me. Watching the 06 UF-AU game on the SEC Network reminded me of him.
That 06 AU team had a couple good ones too:
-"The Stump" Josh Thompson
-"The Little Ball of Hate" Tray Blackmon.

"Hefty Lefty" is an all-time great nickname. Some of my earliest and fondest SEC memories outside of AU involve Lorenzen running around the field

It's so true and it rolls off the tongue so well.

Biscuit is a great one. Mount Cody is one of the most appropriate ever. Same with "Circle Button", but it doesn't resonate as much.
Does "Broadway" Joe count as an SEC nickname? I wasn't around back then but I have a feeling that Namath was dubbed "Broadway" in New York and not in Tuscaloosa.

You're right. Namath was known as "Joe Willie" while playing for Alabama. He didn't become "Broadway Joe" until he went pro..
