Broke is the TD resident watch guru.

We should be honored he's ventured onto our board.

Broke-

bought my first watch ever about a year ago and I have the bug. I have an all silver, white face watch that's somewhat dressy/casual that I wear daily.

I'd like to get a more truly casual daily wear. I want something with a brown leather band and preferably a light face. Any recs for under $100?

As a bit of a watch snob, this post hurts.

It's tough. $100 won't get you much. But I recommended one. I own an Alpha

why?

You already know that I have only bought one watch in my life, so I'm clearly not an aficionado. I'm sure there are things I enjoy that you don't that would make me cringe, but that's no reason to think less of you for it.

Just didn't like stuff on your wrists? I've been wearing a watch since I was 12 probably so I'm always curious about folks decision not to

Skagen makes a really good watch in the $100ish price range. Very thin and lightweight, so they're a good daily wear watch. Great customer service as well
