The passing on JDC got me thinking a little and since its the offseason why not. I'm sure we've done this before, but I wanted to try it again. I'll tally the votes and we will see who gets selected.
Rules
1. List 4 Aggies
2. Do not list more or less than 4 Aggies
3. Reasoning is your own, give it or not.
4. Lets keep it sport related so no metal of honor winners or presidents (unless its sports related)
T&G
Standings
Manziel - 15
Crow - 13
Gill - 7
Nguyen - 7
Law - 5
Miller - 4
Kimbrough - 2
Lechler - 2
Colson - 1
Stallings - 1
Dickey - 1
Hayes - 1
Glen - 1
Wacha - 1
theGarnetWay - 1
Richardson - 1
Lary - 1
Adams - 1
Bible - 1
Crite - 1
Rau - 1
I'll start...
John David Crow
Johnny Manziel
To me Heisman winners are automatic. After this it gets dicey.
Acie Law
Its hard to put a basketball player over all the football greats, but Acie deserves it IMO. Bob Cousey winner, clutch as can be, Chip Hilton Player of the Year, Neismith Finalist, lead A&M from 0-16 to sweet 16.
The last spot is the hardest to fill because it could be so many but I will go with... John Kimbrough. He was on the '39 championship team and finished 2nd in the Heisman.

JDC, JFF, Dat Nyugen for the diversity, and Von Miller with his Nerd Glasses.
Acie is a beast though...

Crow
Johnny
Gill
Kimbrough
Johnny and Crow are obvious for the Heisman winners.
Gill for being the embodiment of the willing spirit of the 12th Man.
Kimbrough for being the embodiment of A&M's dedication to service and his prowess on the field as well

E. King Gill - "I wish I could say that I went in and ran for the winning touchdown," he told the Post. "But I did not. I simply stood by in case my team needed me."
Sydney Colson - helped the Aggies win the NCAA title during her senior year.
Johnny Manziel - tGOAT
Shane Lechler - All-Pro nine times during his career. NFL's all-time leader in career punting average. The active iron man leader for consecutive games played by an NFL player.

So JFF and JDC is a a given. I think E. King Gill is almost a given.
I think Stallings should be there in the last spot. Him or RC.

Man, these are always tough. For me:
1.) E. King Gill
You can't speak about A&M sports at all without acknowledging his influence. He's not just on the Aggie Mount Rushmore--he's the mountain itself
2.) Acie Law IV
No Aggie basketballer captured our hearts and imaginations quite like The Long Arm of the Law. For a traditional "football school," what he did was significant
3.) Johnny Manziel
I mean...he's tGOAT. Nuff said.
4.) I really want to say Crow, but gimme Nguyen. Can make strong cases either way, tbh, so I won't split hairs here. Toss-up.
For me, it's Dat:

I don't see how you can't have a national champion up there!
Plus, why not a woman?
There were a couple of our softballers I considered, along with Stacy Sykora; but ultimately I went with one of the national championship hoops trifecta of Danielle Adams, Sydnet Colson, or Sydney Carter.
Boys will be mean boys.
Throw rocks at them.

Don't take it too hard, I didn't even go outside football... If the sideline girl flirts with Kyle or Kyler on ESPN again this year, she may make my list next year.

Fun fact Acie Law IV had a little brother named Acie Law V. BOOM.
I motion to buy the next mountain over and make a monument of just Acie Law 1-5,6

I was legit deciding between Colson and Law. Plus, Colson plays for San Antonio now
These Mount Rushmore thingamajiggers are tough for me

Nah.
I was just feeling confrontational for a moment.
It's passed.

Crow and Johnny have 2 spots locked up.
Dat, Acie, and E are battling for the final 2 spots. I'm a little shocked there is little love for everyone's favorite glassing wearing, farting, chicken farmer.
for giving some love to baseball.
