I love LSU but if my daughter thought that Tiger Stadium with fireworks was a great idea got a wedding I must have really fricked up as a father.

People are kind of overlooking how cheesy weddings are by nature. They're hodge-podge rituals filled with superstitions, melodrama, and lots of weeping as participants wearing costumes follow obscure patterns and make pledges that, statistically, 50% of them will later break. Holding one in a football stadium, especially if you come from a family whose lives revolve around the sport, isn't any less objectively silly than holding one in a place where, come Sunday, the atmosphere will be "Behave or go to hell and burn forever." We're just acclimated to the latter.

Granted, driving a Rolls-Royce around an enclosed area for no particular reason and having no particular destination is a little weird even by wedding standards. But I've been to a wedding where the bride and groom left on horses and switched to a limo when just out of sight, so it's all relative.

Haven't read this thread, but are you guys actually arguing about Saban's daughter's wedding? . . . and then the couple driving in Bryant Denny?

Seriously?

You guys needs lives . . . Bama fans commenting on this board as well.

This is hilarious. Echoing the other poster who said they could have sold out the stadium if they had opened it up to Bama nation.

Thread started, unsurprisingly, by someone other than an Alabama fan.

The wedding was not on the field. There are great facilities for events, banquets, etc. inside of Bryant-Denny.

Driving across the field wouldn't be my personal choice of how to leave my wedding, but it was obviously her's.

It really just further shows that Saban has gone full gump and is more committed to Bama than he has been any other place ever.

Why is this 21 pages?

Would any other coach or his daughter get this attention?

Should I give a f#$% about what Les Miles' kids are doing?
