You're using a game in which LF had 5 touches while Chubb had 31 to compare the two. I think you've got the full 'tard part of this discussion covered.
But, WHY did he only have 5 carries? THAT is the question. Is Miles really that bad? And we can take a game by game comparative. Take their top games...somebody listed their top 5 or 6 games earlier and Chubb outrushed LF in all but one...the lowest gained game.

The only reason this is even a conversation right now is the recruiting hype surrounding Leonard Fournette. He may eventually prove worthy of it, but as of now it's Chubb by a large margin.

Has LSU ever had the best RB in the SEC?
Recently, Jeremy Hill in 2013 and Stevan Ridley wasn't far off in 2010. He's definitely had a better career than Knile Davis or Lattimore.

No one knows. It was a head scratcher.

You guys need to learn to read because I've never once said LF is better than Chubb. In fact, I've said several times that Chubb had the better season and should be considered the better back right now. All I said was using a game in which one player got 26 more touches than another to compare the two is downright stupid.

This is definitely a head scratcher. It just doesn't make sesne. LF is DEFINTELY a game changer. He should have gotten at LEAST 10-15 more carries. Could he have been injure or was he being disciplined and nobody knew?

It could be argued that Jeremy Hill was the best back in the SEC in 2013. Mason had the gaudy numbers (415 more yards and 6 more TDs), but he also had 114 more carries than Hill.

Those are based on NFL career, NOT college. There were some people outisde of LSU fans that argued for other players beside Hill.

Hill was a good one, no doubt. I like him in the NFL, too. I used to like a lot of the LSU backs many years ago...Hilliard (The elder)for instance. LSU has had some good ones come through their system...but, I guess, everyone has.

Meh, Hill's is most certainly based on college. And sure, there are people who say Mason was better that year. We call them Auburn fans.
Hill was a better RB that year.

Go look at Hill's numbers from 2013.
SEC Ranks:
Yards - 2nd (415 behind Mason)
YPC - 3rd (1st in players with over 100 carries)
TDs - Tied for 2nd (6 behind Mason)
Mason had 114 more carries than Hill.

There was speculation that Fournette mouthed off to miles in that game

The real question. Not even just for that game, but he wasn't given many carries in any game...it's not like LSU was blowing the doors off people and Miles could afford to rest LF every game.
The YPC discrepancy still puts Chubb ahead when taking the above into consideration (although one brainiac earlier tried to downplay that one as well), but I would like to see Miles let LF off the leash. Maybe he will put up numbers like Chubb with more carries, maybe he won't, but it boggles my mind that Miles isn't utilizing him more.

okay, well I guess I will just assume that you are either too lazy to back up your claim, or that you are just as ignorant as you claim that I am.

Stats are stats but personally, I would not trade Fournette for Chubb if given the choice.
I doubt any UGA fans would trade Chubb for Fournette either.
TBH, most of these threads seem to be started by bored trolls of other fanbases..

11
ONLY ELEVEN FREAKING CARRIES. If he gets 25 carries he gets close to 300 yards in that game

I am lazy, therefore I'm going to continue to let you believe he's just a decent downhill runner.
Anyone who watched him play more than 2-3 games last year knows just how versatile he can be.

Can you at least point me to a game that I can youtube? I am willing to do that work to prove myself wrong, if I am indeed wrong.

Just watch his game film or highlights from each week. His vision got much better and he began to figure out how to break tackles.
He has good feet and good lateral quickness for a man his size. His problem was he tried to run around people too much early in the season and he was too impatient in the hole and in the open field. Once he learned to use his quickness to stretch people laterally and then put his foot in the ground to run through tackles his production went way up.
Give him an offseason to learn how to utilize those skills and I think you are going to see a whole new runner this season.

I hope the best for the guy
I just watched a highlight vid, and he does have good feet, and it was overkill to say he is just a downhill runner. However, I still think Chubb is on another level than everyone else, and that any talk of Fournette as a Bo or Herschell is way off-base.
