I'm not worried about the QB position

Saban and co. have shown since they have been in T-Town that they can turn the most mediocre of players into serviceable QBs. Wilson and McElroy were nothing to write home about in terms of talent, but Saban forged them into players who could manage the football game and not make mistakes. As a result, both QBs led the Tide to undefeated regular seasons (with McElroy driving the hammer home in 2009). Sims was an athlete recruited to Alabama to play RB. He ended up being the most prolific passer Alabama has ever had in a single season on the way to an SEC title. Of the QBs Saban has had start at Alabama, only McCarron was highly recruited for that position out of high school. And we all saw what he did.
So...yeah, I'm not too concerned. I have confidence in the staff's ability to select and develop a QB over the course of the season. We have seen it happen every single year.

It's April so I would hope not.

I only saw parts of A-Day, but I thought the QBs looked fine. Alabama's A-Day game isn't really set up for QBs to light it up - none really ever have.
Coker looked like he had progressed in the offense to me - I'm not sure what the panic is among some people about the QB position. If they can go ahead and basically narrow this down to a couple of guys and really give them the reps in the fall (and if they put in the work on their own this summer), I think Alabama will have a QB perfectly capable of winning big this year.

I'm concerned a bit. Ya know how some guys have "it"....? I honestly think Coker had the opposite of "it." I don't think he has any feel.

You don't realize how hard it is to take what you just said seriously

Neither am I, I think we should all know by now if Saban, Smart and Kiffin is going to put a product out on the field its going to be the best we have and we have done tremendous if you look at our past teams. thats proof enough that they are working very hard to get the best units together to perform at high levels.
if we didnt have the recruits or the caliber coaching staff we have, then i would be concerned

I'm not worried about anything, but I just hate Coker's wind-up. Ugh. His mechanics just kill me.

Until our defense is fixed, I'm going to worry. The game has changed and you have to produce points now. I don't think you can win a championship by having a QB who is simply a "game manager."

This is my only gripe with Coker. Cornwell has much better mechanics but Coker looks more comfortable with the offense to this point. I'm team Cornwell but I can see Coker winning it due to seniority.
