Ags are beginning to rival UGA as the chief whiners of the SEC.

takking a ball on the exact same location as the ball before is the aggressive, and right, play.
The pitch was not in the same place, it was about 1-2 inches closer with more movement. The call isn't where the catcher catches it, it's where the ball crosses the plate. With a sidewinder righty the ball was breaking away from the batter. The ball crossed the plate in the strike zone, thus it is a strike.

Look where his index finger is on his glove and thats mostly likely where the ball went. I use to catch and pretty much 99% of the time you snag the ball in the pocket of your index finger and thumb when you close the mitt your index finger is squeezing the ball. By the looks of it he painted the black which is a strike in every umpires strike zone, this fellar was just inconsistent tonight. Batter suppose to protect anything close any time you have two strikes no matter what. Its practically batting law.

you're so stupid that you don't even understand that refs aren't in baseball. there's little help for you here.

Refs or umps. Same exact thing to me. I don't care.

Breaking away from the batter? What game were you watching?

its a strike if the ump calls it a strike.

Looks to be a whole glove outside.
Exactly It wasn't "close" and damn sure was more than 3 inches out.

I didn't make the initial post about the ball breaking away but it doesn't take much to realize a right handed side arm pitcher throwing to the outside of the plate against a right handed Batter is going to be moving away from the batter.

In all seriousness Aggs you have no clue what getting fricked looks like. Bama is playing nice to you because they dont see you as a threat. But just wait one day you will be and they will that getting screwed by Texas look like a sister kiss. They will pay you but beat them two years in a row and football and watch what happens.
Bad calls are part of baseball. You may still win the series. We wish we could frick u like you think we can. Bama can and will do it

Kinda like how LeBron gets all the calls in the NBA. When you've accomplished as much as LSU has over the years, the league wants you to do well.
University of Texas at College Station on the other hand, is more of a perpetual hype machine. One little flash of promise got parlayed into a big windfall, and lots of media love. Basically, y'all are like Jeremy Lin.
LSU baseball=LeBron. One of the best ever.
UTCS Aggies=Jeremy Lin. A flash in the pan years ago still trying to be relevant.

If I was an Aggie I'd be complaining about the walkoff hit that looked to be foul more than the strike call.
Posted on 4/24/15 at 12:24 am to KamaCausey_LSU
I'd be complaining about the batter not swinging and even more about the 3rd basemen not laying out and trying to at least keep the ball in the infield.
