Damn. Ben Simmons cost more than I thought he did.

I say keep a footprint in the state of Louisiana and look at schools that can pay their bills, like Louisiana Lafayette or Tulane. To keep our pipe line of talent from New Orleans to College Station.
Good idea. I think we add Tulane. It's a good school and they have some money.

Do you seriously not see how the credit downgrade will have an impact?
This may be political posturing, but the Moody's downgrade was not --- positive to stable will make future investments cost a good bit more just on the interest spike.
Long term, something has to give with louisiana's university count. LSU will never reach top 50 public university status when the state has to fund as many D1 schools as Florida, who has 4x our population. It's pretty incredible how resourceful LSU is now given the state has screwed LSU even before Jindal.
Because the fact it's political suicide for certain reps, the only way to shut these universities down is to slash their funding significantly

My bad. Thought he was just referencing the last 11 games for LSU in general.

Does LSU have a large endowment like most schools? They be fine. Need to cut Miles salary till he beats Saban.

I'm hoping LeSU doesn't have to pay Chavis the $200k it owes him. It could break the bank.

If LeSU closes up shop, we can send Mike the Tiger to Missouri or Auburn, or even Clemson if they join the SEC.
Or we can just give Mike back to these guys

how obvious it is to the non retard that this is just a strategy against jindal.
Of course it is a scare tactic against Jindal, but there are some very real problems going on if this discussion is having to be made. Rival schools are going to use this story on every recruit considering LSU.

Aggies have all that money and can't even get the top kids in texas. That's what's a joke. Your coach and fat arse chief may be fired after the aggies go 6-6 this year. By the way of the top 10 players in Texas this year Texas A&m may get 1. LSU and Texas are leading for ever damn one.
