Chances ND beats Kentucky?

I actually think ND stands a fighting chance. The only way to beat UK is to make jump shots. Notre Dame is very good at shooting the 3. Would need a big night from Connaughton* and Jackson as well as Jerian Grant.
I'll say 35% chance ND can get the upset. What says the rant?

If UK brings their A-game...no chance.
If UK brings their C-game...35% chance.

Not high. I'm excited to see Grant though. He's a beast. Can't wait to see how he attacks UK's size.

ND is really, really good. Fun to watch and plays a great brand of basketball. They have a very slight chance imo. Problem is they rely on the two white catholic boys giving them some garbage points that probably will not materialize vs. UK. Could be a fun game to watch....but I thought UK vs. WVU would be as well.

Lloyd Christmas has a better chance with Mary Swanson.

ND is a great team, except they don't have the thing that can challenge UK. You need height and length to beat UK and ND doesn't have it.
They are very similar to 2011-12 Mizzou. 4 guards and big. It works great against most, if not all "normal" teams.
UK has this thing where they are ginormous. Outside Ulis and Booker, everyone is 6'6".
The only way they win is by shooting 60% plus from the field, with at least 50% from 3.
I'll give them a 2% chance to win.

I don't give them much chance at all.
I hope the final score is worse than the UK-WVU score. I hope Kentucky wipes the floor with ND. I want ND to always lose at everything. It's even better when an SEC team is handing them the loss.
I feel like fans of all SEC schools should feel this way. Even if you don't support the other SEC schools against any other team you should be cheering for them against Notre Dame.

About five minutes in, I was much more interested in refilling my whiskey than watching that game.

I kinda like the white boys against UK's bigs. Obviously nobody is going to matchup with them in terms of height and size, so I like that their forwards can step out and shoot the 3. I don't think UK has played anyone that has had that post that can stretch the defense.

If they start really hitting from the perimeter they certainly have a shot. It'll be best tournament competition they've played yet. I'm hoping there isn't an emotional letdown from yesterday's game for UK.

The first 5 UK put on the court last night beats ND by 30.
The second 5 UK put on the court last night beast ND by 25.
Those 5 white kids UK put on the court with 1:00 left beats ND by 10.

Small problem with them doing that is UK's defense.

Probably so.

There won't be. This group has had a mission from day 1. I've said it since before the season. This group wants to be perfect. Meaning undefeated.

Cal probably would have been relaxed in years past, but I think he keeps them focused and stays hard on them even after a 40 point victory.
I'm hoping differently and that UK thinks they've already won.
