Judging by how shitty our football program has been because of constant turnover, I would be very hesitant about firing him after one year. We shouldn't make the same mistake twice. He's obviously a good coach, I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt until the NCAA shite is over.

But that goes back to the recruiting thing, they can't recruit with this cloud hanging over.

Eh. Stability in your coaching staff is a huge key to success. Any change you make is going to delay getting a program to where you want it to be 2-3 years.

Obviously I don't know exactly what Donnie did at So Miss. and the extent of the repurcussions for the tourney and recruiting, but it would have to be pretty bleak to pull the trigger after year 1. It really shouldn't have anything to do with what the WL is this year.

Donnie is being accused of some serious shite while at USM. He also had violations and admitted guilt of those while at Morehead. I don't see how he survives this.

He is a good coach and the Vols need stability.

Fixed this quote of yours from yesterday.

Yeah, I liked it better when I said it. But if you're gonna plagerize someone, might as well be the best.

Shouldn't have run off Cunzo

Should have never had to hire him in the first place. Pearl should have never lied we should've took the slap on the wrist and still been trucking.

I'm sure you don't care but when you're not being just extra bitchy I do think you're pretty funny.

Zo had an unbelievably talented team that was an on paper lock every year for the tournament. He missed it his first 2 years after the Vols had gone to 6 in a row, and his final year he barely skidded into a play-in game with Jarnell stokes, Jordan mcrae, and josh Richardson.

Youre painting with Broad strokes

Do some research on the talent Rick Stansbury brought to Mississippi State and you'll know.

Not to mention he took an Assistant job to Billy Kennedy with a pretty badass resume.

Nothing about that shite adds up.

No, we need to show loyalty to a basketball coach, for a change.

You gave your football coach a raise after going 6-6 and beating Vandy by 7. I say keep the guy and hype the shite out of him in the off-season like you do football. If UT wins one of their last 2 it will be a comparable season with football. Both in conference and out.

The only way you fire him now is if you KNOW he committed NCAA violations and you believe that it will harm UT for 3+ years.

He's outperformed expectations, as painful as that is.

Exactly right. Tennessee will most likely suck next year no matter who is coaching, I'm just glad it isn't Cuonzo.

I would fire him and he's not that great of a coach. All he knows how to run on defense is a weird zone and teams have finally figured it out and that is why the vols have lost like 10 games in a row
