Ezekiel Elliot 85 yard run

The missed FG by Oklahoma State vs Iowa State in 2011. Or the INT in the endzone by Stanford vs Oregon in 2012. Both plays allowed Bama to get back up to #2 in the polls after losing in November and win titles.
Without those two plays, it's likely LSU vs OK St, and Notre Dame vs Oregon.

Matt Mauck to Skyler Green against UGA in 2003.

Gotta be the Auburn FG return; just eclipsing JFF's Tuscalooser performance and Reid's goal-line interception. Of course most Gumps would say 21-0 but that's balanced by the wonderful ULM game. You're right. So many wonderful memories.

Should have been a penalty.

I would say the Patrick Peterson interception that wasn't called, but PP didn't have possession of the ball and his toe was out of bounds.

A lot of people in this thread don't understand what the word "impactful" means.

And Bama would have still had the ball because it happened after the ball was kicked.

I know, I just wanted to be like LSU and Arkansas fans and blame the refs for once

Didn't feel very good, did it?

quote:Probably the Marcel Dareus hit on Colt McCoy, considering Texas might have beaten Alabama with him (we will never know, though). The Kick Six was great and all, but Auburn failed to win the National Championship thanks in part to us playing one of the best teams I've ever seen.
Dareus hit on Colt McCoy or the 1 second kick?
FWIW, I think the Terrance Cody blocked field goal should be up there.

Like LSU had the stones, or the offense, to move the ball on that vaunted 2009 Crimson Tide defensive unit

This was my initial thought when the OP included it in his original post... but then I got to thinking... What if Bama had won that game, gone on to beat Missouri, and then had a shot at FSU?
Sure, FSU might have won... but the kick six prevented us from ever having that opportunity. Big play.
