I know there was a bill that went before the state house a few years ago, but can't remember if it passed or not.

I remember how scary it is to go on lockdown. Happened to me once at A&M after someone called in that they saw someone on campus walking around with an "AK47". It turned out to be a Corps of Cadets student walking back to his dorm with his drill M1903 Springfield.

No new news...just reports of an active shooter. Classes have been cancelled. Multiple agencies (campus police, city police, SLED (state police)...I even think I saw the US Marshals there) are on scene looking for the person.
