Early report is murder/suicide so I would assume atleast one person besides the shooter was hurt.

Heard it was a fired TA that shot the professor that fired him.

There will be a buttload of drinking this afternoon ... the weekend just started early for students.
Speculation time - who was it and what motivated it?
Gay/Gay? Student/Teacher? Crime of passion or one of revenge?
We allow very few gays here, only enough to meet the minimum Federal requirement, and even then it's mostly lipstick lesbians ... so I doubt that was it.
Student/teacher? There is some indication that it happened on the research/lab floor .... I dunno, that makes sense. Might have been revenge related? Those lab rats are so strung-out most of the time.
Hearing it involves a couple of yankees though. Out-of-staters.

That's the word right now for sure ... seems to be the popular rumor at the moment.
Watch it be something completely different like off the map crazy something or other.
The guys at Shooter's Choice are already fielding visits from SLED about the murder weapon ... so it must have been purchased there.

I wonder why the C in Carolina is left out besides cool acronym purposes.
I guess SCLED would make you sound like Lou Holtz. But then again, shouldn't South Carolina people be used to that?
