Is that your only basis for saying we don't get AJ? I know he isn't going to State but I thought we were still in it for AJ. Especially with a visit this weekend.

This is my positive conspiracy theory about our staff and recruiting for the year. I know this isn't the case but I want it to be true.
We have had AJ locked up for a long time. Our staff told him that we would keep it a secret. Even more than that we would put out rumors and reasons to why it would never happen. This is why the "local pressure" business got started up. You always hear "OM is in it but the local pressure is too much for me to believe he will sign with OM". It almost sounds like code because everyone is saying it. It almost sounds like "Guys we can't tell you but we have AJ. We just don't want the locals in Starkville to know that he is our and really turn up the pressure". Even now when it is widely known he isn't going to State it is Bama. Just to keep the pressure off of him. It's genius.

I think Swinney will be good but not a game changer like Pennamon would be. We need an all purpose back, I am also worried about Swinney's injury and if he can recover from it.
