I'd like to see Korbin Harmon maybe given one of those leftover scholarships. He gave up a lot to play for us; it would be nice to see him rewarded.

Well we do have the same legal team.

Well I could see him having a soft spot for the WBB team.
I think the best thing about this being tied to Tunsil is that we waited until the NCAA said to put him back in.
Obviously this has been known to be in the works for a while. Nothing new to see here. My question is; why can't someone investigate the timing of the release of this report? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the timing of the release is dirty as hell.

I've heard here and other places that Freeze has already told recruits and families about this coming. I hope that is true.
I wish Old Piss would just recruit the right way like the rest of the SEC.
How did we get to #3 on the 247 composite class? Did FSU lose someone?

I so want him in Pittsburgh. I've said to my friends for a while that Prewitt may not be as good as Troy, but they play a similar game. I think Cody would require less adjustment for Pittsburgh than anywhere else in the NFL. They are set up to allow that Safety spot to freelance. I'd love to see that experiment.

I stumbled on the site while doing a google search looking for recruiting info last summer. I joined a few months later, but I rarely post unless I have something to add.

In this case, I've been a Pittsburgh Steeler fan for most of my life, so I have some understanding of how a 3-4 defense works. The whole D-Line, especially the NT must be able to plug gaps for it to be effective. They are not counted on to provide pressure, but they must be able to keep their bodies in the gaps and tie up OL so that the LBs will be free to make plays.

Honestly I'm not sure we have the horses to run it effectively. Maybe just using it in a few situations could be effective, but I don't know.

Big and slow is great as a nose in a 3-4. Well, as long as "big" equals "hard to push out of the gap...
Whoever starts one, remember to immediately reply to yourself so you'll have the first couple ( or few?) posts for if/when you run out of room in the initial thread post. Just saying.
Ole Miss got lucky to be caught in a perfect storm.

Bama and LSU are stacked and have top 5 recruiting classes as always. Auburn and Arky had to work extra hard to try to keep what they had with coaching changes; they were worse than they ever are. TAMU has an awesome class as well, and are far enough away that we aren't effected too much by their success. The only reason we aren't talking about MSUs good class is we are overshadowing them right now because we are still in it with several uncommitted 5* recruits.

Freeze is a good enough recruiter that he actually has a few recruits believing he can win at OM. With RN most likely coming because of his brother, some of the other top talent stopped to look at OM when most years they wouldn't.

I believe that this class is all about luck. If we get the commits that are projected to us, we will have an amazing class. That puts the pressure on CHF to win with these guys. If he does, OM will pull better recruits. If not, no recruits will buy his hype again. I'm cautiously optimistic that Freeze can be successful.

If people would stop trying to come up with conspiracy theories about every damn thing and use a little sense...maybe the fact that Denzel is already there, and a good chance that Robert will too mean that his Dad would try to get a job nearby?
