It still baffles me to know Georgia has gone 30 years since winning a ship. They have recruited great classes over the years only to fall short time and time again.
My guess would be South Carolina or Auburn.

Mizzou is Georgia's east daddy

More stagnation than demise, but the answer is Florida and there isn't another team that is remotely close.

If anyone is responsible it definitely isn't Auburn. UGA losing to Alabama stymied our national championship in 2012. Losing to Tenn fricked us in 2007. Also I wouldn't call UGA on a "demise."

It all goes back to when Ole Miss stole Tunsil.

We are responsible for ours and UGA's demise.

It's not like they were racking up the national titles before 1980. Don't think "demise" is the word you're looking for.

Florida is the correct answer; if anything Auburn is partially responsible for our success as they are usually an easy W to pencil in.

Georgia is responsible for their own lack of championships in the last 3 decades because they dont demand better

Wow. That's definitely the answer.
I guess drought would have been better than demise.

the answer is Georgia. We promoted Ray Goff and it set our program back decades.

Georgia is most responsible because they keep hanging onto king "Just Good Enough" Mark Richt
He is the Jamie Dixon of College Football.
Dixon has loads of Sweet 16 and Elite 8 appearances, no Final Fours

Demise from what? You said 30 years so we can go with that...
-The mid/late 80s saw us ride out an old arse coach and the rise of auburn
-we then lost that coach and hired a shitty coach. Coincides with spurrier at UF and fulmer at UT. Also Jan Kemp that bitch
-that shitty coach left and we brought in a less shitty coach. He turned our awful seasons into 8/9 win seasons
-that coach left and we got an even better one, who turned those 8/9 win seasons into 10/11 win seasons.
So, really, we've actually been on a pretty steady upswing. Not a demise.
