Continued watching the SEC Network after the finish of the Ole Miss - State game (fine entertainment Mississippi folks, enjoyed it
).
McElroy came on to rank the Top 5 returning SEC running backs.
Of course - he said Chubb was a "no-brainer" as the #1 returning RB.
#2? Derrick Henry
. And it will be very interesting to see how Henry does as he comes back next year as Alabama's top choice to run the ball now that Yeldon is gone. Dude is a monster at something like 6'3" 240 pounds. Totally insane.
#3? Fournette. A little high, but probably correct as Arkansas will be splitting the carries between their two outstanding returning RBs.
Anyway - good on ya McElroy.

You need some more emoticons in your posts.

I'm sure he's relieved to have your approval.

That's too many emoticons for one male

As a Bama fan I'd rather have Fournette than Henry. Easily.

He's by far the best analyst the SEC Network has. He needs to call more games.

Fournette > Henry. Has much better vision and explosiveness than Henry to go along with similar size and power.

Derrick Henry 2nd? Nah....

I'll agree that the boy knows his football. He's the best the SEC Network has. He's been impressing me from the get-go. [And at the get-go I did not want to accept him].
I'm not sure he needs to be "calling" games in the traditional sense. But during that SEC Network experimental treatment of The Iron Bowl he was the golden child, no question. If this is what you meant by "calling games" then I'm all for it. The boy is brilliant.

Georgia fans still insecure about Chubb? Asking for a friend.

Would not be surprised the top RB in '15 will be someone that no one is talking about.

I'll agree that Chubb had the best freshman year. Give me LF7 over Henry every day of the week though.

Fournette is twice the running back Henry is. Henry is slow as shite and can't read a block to save his life.

Henry is great and all but he gets tripped up to easily when running through the middle. Im not sure if he needs to learn to lift his knees and turn his legs or just put on more leg strength but for a guy his size he shouldnt be tripped up so often.

He's a lot faster than he looks. That dude's stride is ridiculous.

Yea haters gonna hate. It's not like Henry sucks, LF is just better with much higher potential.

He's fast as hell while looking slow.
I'd take LF over him though...

Touche'.
There are a dozen with the genetics and preparation. It then boils down to who's willing to run for his life. No question.

not me. Furthermore, I'd rather have Drake than either.

Hurd's one to keep an eye on. Will be fun to watch when he has a decent o line. He can run, catch out of the backfield, and block, and he's like Derrick Henry in the sense that he's a little bit taller than the average running back, and so looks slow while running fast. Great crop of running backs next year all around.
