He's supposed to visit us this weekend and you guys next weekend. Any news you can share with a fellow SEC East member?

Sounds like UGA called the Maddens for the first time yesterday with two plane tickets already booked for an OV to Athens this weekend, and Madden bumped a pre-arranged USCe visit.

Mutts,
When it comes to Madden, all I know what I read on the internet. We offered him a year ago, we filled up on OL commits by the summer, so he never visited and we stopped pursuing him. Then he committed to Wisc.
He was told by Wisc last week that they won't be able to enroll him. Monday we contacted him about taking an OV on the 23rd. We got him a ticket, but he hadn't setup a flight for his dad, Dave, so we told him we would call him on Tuesday to finalize the details....
meanwhile, in a swamp to the west, Evil Richt and his minions were upset about the loss of Donte Jackson. Tempers were running hot in the all coach meeting, fingers were being pointed but nobody knew who to blame since they were all new.
Evil Richt refocused everyone and said, "By the Beard of Abraham, we got to do something about our OL! We just lost Patrick, he's going to UTk, and there's a storm coming from the East. We need to do something! It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. Isaiah 4:6"
"Slow your roll," said Pruitt. "This FCS OL Coach just got the biggest check of his life, he must have a plan."
"frick Steve Spurrier, " exclaimed Coach Sale. "Let's find out who they're offering and offer the same. That Coach Elliott is a MASTER of finding OL talent, let's hop on 247 and see what's up."
Just a sound bite, don't watch the video, audio perposes only
"How bout that?!?!" remarked Coach Sale, "They offered a kid names Sam Madden, and he's a GIANT....le's get 'em."
Richt chimed in, "Connie, call the President of Delta, I want a ticket for Sam Madden from NJ to fly to ATL to get a connector flight and then come to Athens, I hope the layover isn't more than 2 hours since we don't have a major airport nearby."
Coach Sale stated, "I got this, I'll call this kid's dad at 8 a.m. and tell him I already made the travel arrangements and paid for everything, so I will get in trouble if he doesn't come visit us."
Richt scolded, "Coach Sale, that doesn't seem honest...Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool.Proverbs 19:1... "
"SHUT YOUR frickING FACE you Helen Hunt lookin sum'a bitch!" demanded Coach Pruitt. "I'm not going to stick around and watch Spurrier push our shite in for the next 4 outta 5 years too!"
Richt fell silent, he knew he was just dominated.
The next morning, Coach Sale called Dave Madden, Sam's dad, and said, "come visit UGA this weekend instead of SC. I've already made all the arrangements. I was so excited about just thinking of y'all coming to visit, I already bought the tickets. I'm knew at this job, if y'all don't come my Accounting Dept is going to get me. They are SOOOO tight when it comes to money."
Mr Madden responded, "I understand your situation, I'm sure we can visit SC later and Coach Mangus will understand. We'd love to come for a visit this weekend.
Coach Mangus called Mr Madden after UGA called with arragements. Mr Madden told Mangus that he would like to just push back the visit a week to Jan 30th.
Coach Mangus is visiting in-home with Madden and his family today.
Madden said. "Clearly coach Spurrier has got a heck of a career behind him and has a great staff. It's not a program that has to do much to sell itself. I like that they had a rough year because they are going to be absolutely passionate to show everybody what they are."
The Maddens did not expect to be back on the market in late January. The commitment to Wisconsin was solid and was only broken when the Badgers informed Sam Madden he couldn't enroll early.
"It was a rude shock last Tuesday that brought us to this point," Dave Madden said, "but it's been a blessing and has brought some opportunities he wasn't exposed to previously. The Gamecocks offered last year but they were filling up so fast we didn't have time to make a visit so we couldn't commit. The way things work out, now we get an opportunity and we're really, really excited about that."
Madden does not yet have a favorite moving forward and his father knows the family will be be facing another tough decision.
"It's tough, it is really tough," Dave Madden said. "Each of them have something very special about them. Each of them have an interested aspect. There's different dynamics to the coaches. Some are younger, some are older. Sam just needs to go and find where he's comfortable and we want the school to feel comfortable. "
Dave Madden said he will join his son on his official visits and the plan is for his son to sign on National Signing Day.

Not all the above quotes were from this article, but some actually were.
So all in all, Madden will visit athens this weekend and then SC on the 30th. We have a NJ contingent of recruits coming on the 30th, so this could actually work really well for us...as long as Madden visits.
How many OL has Coach Sale put in the NFL? That might be a hot topic during the visits.

Not really, there was a lot more to the story. We'll know more after Mangus visits with him and his family today, and after he OV's on the 30th.

This post made me feel sort of bad for you. Who in their right mind would spend the amount of time to post this. This is not healthy at all. Rather damning really, you should consider a hobby. The gym is very therapeutic, give it a shot buddy. This is a sincere suggestion.
