It's not really that.
It's just that we go through the same thing every single off season. Every year there is something new that makes LSU fans feel like they're unbeatable the following season. New OC, new young talented QB, new DC, new position coach, big name RB, or whatever else.

We have to deal with this shite. Incessant trash talking from a team that finishes with 8-10 wins. We've all just grown tired of it I suppose.
