Funny that atheists celebrate Christmas but none of the other religious holidays.

But yet Christianity is their go to religion to mock. Hypocritical bastards.

Yes, we do enjoy laughing at how ignorant and insecure Christians are. This is true.

Atheists = Pagans

Atheism is just another way of rejecting one of a handful of mainstream or more popular religions. Whether no belief in a diety or multi-diety belief.

It seems the insecure ones are the ones starting constant threads about their beliefs, or lack thereof.

Having a greater understanding of history isn't a lack in belief. In fact its a belief based on knowledge, not ignorance.

I never argue religion or lack thereof (or politics). I learned that lesson being a bartender many years ago. People have every right to believe (or not) what they choose. ... But make no mistake - just because some believe in something/someone, "a higher power," that cannot be explained by science, etc. and is based largely on faith (that's kinda the point), does not make them ignorant. Although, if you need to feel you are more intelligent to calm your insecurities, by all means, go right ahead.

I asked in a thread once, asking atheists.. how many believed in intelligent alien life outside of this planet. It was overwhelming how many had nothing but complete faith in extra terrestrial life, since there is absolutely no evidence of it existing.

Agree with everything you just said.

I usually don't set myself above Christians, unless my lack of belief is attacked first.

This is America. We can believe or not believe in whatever the frick we want.
