You conveniently left off the woodshed beating LSU endured on the sport's biggest stage.
Yes.
Again, yes. Those crystal footballs trump anything accomplished in the regular season.
If you want to limit the resumes to regular season only, then I can agree with you.

So FSU's 2013 resume is better than LSU's 2011?
Yes.

BTW, by your standards LSU's 2007 resume, which had 2 losses to unranked teams, is better than the 2011 resume

I'm done arguing with you. The fact that you can't rectify that a resume is not solely determined by one game speaks volumes to your mental capacity.

The resumes I am talking about are not "solely determined by one game."
To get to the BCS natty a team had to have beaten a lot of teams to get there, and been considered one of the two best teams in the nation. Winning the national championship is the greatest accomplishment a team can aspire to.
I guess this is the difference in Bama and LSU fans - we measure success by national championships, while you claim "resume moral victories."

It's actually exactly what you're saying.
You're claiming that NC winners have inherently better resumes, no matter what, over non-NC winners, because of one game.
I'm sorry you're too stupid to realize this.

A team doesn't just happen to get invited to the BCS natty, they had to have had one of the two most successful seasons up to that point TO GET TO THE NATTY. So it's not just about the championship game itself - although it is THE most important single game (by far) of the entire season.

None of this disputes the fact that your idea of a better resume is based on one game, and your belief that FSU's 2013 is better than LSU's 2011 proves it.
Like I said, your inability to differentiate between a good resume and a national title is astounding, and I'm done arguing with you.

I never said LSU 2011 didn't have a "good" resume, I'm simply saying it isn't anywhere close to the GOAT when the whole season is taken into consideration.

Missouri defense could have made that list also.

Don't even bother. They made rings for finishing #2.

And also make rings for division titles when they didn't even play in the SECCG. Can't say shite to Ole Miss.

Call me a homer, but I maintain that the 2011 LSU defense was better.
Im not being a Homer. Compare the schedules and offenses each team.played in 11. No fricking way in hell Bama's defense was better than ours with the schedule we played.
Oregon, West Va.,Nw st, western Kentucky
Kent st, Penn st, north texas, GA southern.
One is not the same

You sound like an idiot. That offense featured two offensive lineman, a wide receiver, two tight ends, and a rb that were drafted... in the first round. They scored over 40 6x, over 50 3x, and over 60 twice. That was an elite offense.
and a qb that was runner up(or maybe 3rd place) in the heisman.

While I disagree with him in principle, you have to admit that, in the long run, nobody remembers who came in second, or who played the hardest schedule. They remember who the national champion was.
