That's one game. My comment was about the 2011 LSU resume.
Our 2011 resume is unparalleled.
GOAT.
I agree that they had the best resume. Unfortunately bama got the rematch... Rematches favor the team that lost the original matchup. Add one of the GOAT coaches and a pissed of bama squad = no good for LSU. Seriously, I knew we'd lose that game going into it. The sad part is, there was no split title. Even though LSU and Bama were 1-1 that year and LSU won the West/Conference. Plus LSU had a better resume. Oh well... BTW my butt will forever hurt from the way that season ended.

Best team in 2011? No
Based on what?
Both teams played each other to a .500 record.

I guess?
Dude claims they were the better defense and team, the 2 teams played twice and both went 1-1.....

It's okay, at least y'all still have your "We're #2!" rings.

That was a fail on Miles behalf, and most fans I know think so as well

Well you're saying you disagree with everything in my post. 100% disagree right? So 1995 Florida is better than 2011 Bama? If you 100% disagree with what I said then you must believe it. And please 2011 Arkansas, Oregon are both better than 1995 Colorado, Kansas State (2 of the top 10 teams nebraska played)

2011 Arkansas got the shaft that season
Not sure when they will be that good again.
They got really good at an absolutely terrible time.

Sure the record was 1-1, but Bama dominated enough in game 2 to make that stat almost irrelevant IMO
Idk, maybe I'm wrong but who knows. It's 2014 now

But we beat you in the biggest game...and by a larger margin (larger margin than LSUs 9-6 victory). And while LSU won the first time, could of very well been a 22-6 Bama type game but it is what it is. I think an argument can be made but its just opinions at the end of the day
I do think both of those teams would beat Pete Carroll's USC teams, or 95 Nebraska, and 08 Florida. And ill go ahead and say they would beat 01 Miami. The canes never saw animals like 11 LSU/Bama

No way. It took that epic arse kicking in the Fiesta for Spurrier to finally care about defense.
It's frustrating thinking about just how much better Spurrier would've been with Saban's work ethic.

He had to have somewhat of a work ethic to establish those insane offenses at Florida.

We gave up a ton of yards to Geno smith and wvu on the road, team that won the orange bowl. Hell we won our 4 play off games, bama just got to skate to the final losing theirs.
But wvu was playing catch up, If we had played some shittier team, I'd have to think the yards per play and overall yards and points given up would have been much closer.

It sucks, but I could make an argument if we played a 3rd time after that bcs title game. You might have seen LSU win. That prob would have been fair, but not how the system works.
