Can not believe it. Same place the shootings happened with desmonte Leonard in 2012.

Yeah, it is the same place. Auburn has never been known as a violent area. It is unbelievable they would have two shootings this close together, much less in the exact same location. The kid who was killed came from Opelika High School, so he was a local kid

Awful for his family.
This may be too early but:
1. can't a coach make a certain location off limits for his team?
2. Can't the police in Auburn (who have very little to do in a safe small town) really crack down on a known seedy apartment complex?

Honestly that complex isn't that bad. Many students live there. I think it's more of a coincidence.

He was apparently shot multiple times according to the Auburn-Opelika News
quote:
According to Harris, Auburn Police and East Alabama Medical Center EMS received a 911 call at about 12:28 a.m. Sunday to a possible gunshot victim at a residence in the 200 block of West Longleaf Drive in Auburn. Mitchell was rushed to EAMC by ambulance with apparent multiple gunshot wounds and died shortly after arrival at the emergency room
