Do Florida/Georgia/Tennessee step up or does the East send it's annual sacrificial lamb to Atlanta again to appease the SEC West overlords and ask for forgiveness for being a black eye to the conference?

Tennessee steps up to sacrificial lamb status.

UGA will probably be, overall, similar to this year. Their defense will probably be a little better, pass game a little worse.

UF has nowhere to go but up. I think we'll finally see some semblance of an offense under GM. Defense will likely be stout as it has been for years.

UT seems to be on the rise, but they are pretty devoid of major, top end talent. Still, they will probably be better as well.

I would guess the east will be better, as a whole, next year than it has been since about 2009.

For someone who's been there ONCE since the East has been down, you're getting awful inclusive with this overlord stuff.

I think the east gets stronger.

Georgia and South Carolina will be pretty good but not great

Florida will at least be the same as this year but I think they will be better. Arrow pointing up

Tenn seems to be headed in the right direction too so they will be better. They seem to think so too since they just gave him an extension.

Yeah, this might come off as Disney but I think we will be pretty good next year. Defense will progress, with Floyd, Jenkins, and Carter forming the best LB crew in the East. Running game will be great again, with Chubb and a healthy Sony Michel. Our O-line brings back a lot of depth, and if we replace David Andrews at center with someone 80% of his ability, we could pave the way for a Heisman run for Chubb. Decent depth coming back at WR, plus a couple big recruits.

Recruiting class overall looks to be the best at UGA in the last decade, so we should get some help from a couple of those guys getting a little PT right away.

Everything will hinge on our QB play. Ramsey is a packet passer, a true gunslinger. If he plays, look for a decent number of INTs but also some spectacular throws. Jacob Park redshirted this year and is a dual threat guy - personally, we haven't had a running threat at QB in a while and I think that would be a nice element to add to our offense.

Curious to see what TN/UF/MIZZ posters think about their 2015 teams. I don't think TN will be quite ready next year, and I think McElwain will need more than one offseason to fix the issues on offense at Florida. Missouri will be Missouri - tougher schedule next year but they will be in the hunt. I don't think SCar will be that good, although I don't know much about their depth chart for next year.

Long story short, I think it will be UGA and Missouri at the top again.

I don't know about you guys, but Tenn fans have me convinced. With their top tier, 3.6 million dollar, coach they are definitely winning the NFC South next year.

The SEC East in 2015 will be comprised of 7 teams. These teams are:

Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee
Florida
and curiously..Missouri.

They will all play each other in football, and each SEC East school will also play two teams from the Western division.

If Coach Mac is given some time, and a good DC, Florida can be competitive again in a year or two.

Georgia has the talent, I think coaching breakdowns kills them every year. They need a better QB too, the dude they have now, with the DIII arm, will not cut it.

Tennessee . . . I just don't know. They need better players all around. I'm talking about stringing together 3-4 years of good recruiting, not just one.

Mizz seemingly has to be considered first, they are just fricking scrappy and seem to always hit a good stride in the backstretch. Past two years are proof

SC/UGA/TN all have good things and unknowns

UF has more unknowns than knowns

KY is getting close

Vandy keeps the overall IQ of the league up

Whichever "sacrificial lamb" we send to the SECCG doesn't matter because we all know it will not be against tDecline U

I see Georgia as the only challenge to Mizzou next year. If Georgia can pull their collective heads out of their asses and be consistent, they can beat anyone.

Belk Bowl kicks arse and is just so fricking funny.

UGA will be the best team in the east.

Will frick that up somehow and Mizz or USCe win the division.
