You can't have CeCe Jefferson Auburn. Stay away from him.

Why would any good defensive coordinator want to coach for a team that uses the type of offensive strategy Gum Smacker does?
Malzahn's offenses not only slaughters opposing defenses, but they sort of slaughter your own as well?

Seems when Muschamp was at auburn before fans weren't in love with his defense. I remember lots of complaints that dbs didn't turn to see the ball. I also remember some bad defenses he had at Texas. He is a good DC, but I wouldn't call him a defensive guru.

But Alabama fans were claiming Malzahn didn't care about defense because he didn't mention it in his press conference last night
I hope everybody but Garner goes with him from the defensive staff. Melvin Smith and Harbison were his guys anyway. Bring in Travaris Robinson to coach the defensive backs. At least he can recruit.

Nobody thought that. Most thought he cost AU a NC last year. Most scratched their heads when Gus hired him. Ask Bama fans what they thought of him under Dubose.

Most DCs should be thrilled at the idea of having a 35 point cushion to work with

Was Ellis there for a decade? Because that's how long it has been since auburn had a real defense.

The only problem with Boom was he liked to Blitz on third and long, it resulted in a lot of third down conversions. AU only needs a good DC with Gus Offense.

2008 Auburn defense says hello from 6 years ago. Not quite a decade.

With #Auburn canning DC Ellis Johnson, I'd expect Will Muschamp to be the prime candidate for the vacancy.
