We're a much better team when our RB's drive our offense with a game manager @ QB
Do what? If we have Murray this year we wouldn't have lost.
Sorry, don't like a game mgr and "servicble WR's".I'd like all areas of the offense
to have the capability to be explosive and win games.

Wonder how Rumph will do in the combine and draft.
Not very good if he doesn't quit holding the football like a Scooby Doo lunch box.

Do any names on our roster jump out to you and scream "First Round Draft Pick" ?

We need a game changer
I try to avoid the hyperbole that is the style among football fans/commentators. There aren't that many "great" receivers in college football and I don't think Bobo's scheme requires a "great" receiver because it works best when the qb effectively spreads the ball around. I do think that our receivers group next year is good enough to carry their part of the load very well, if they stay relatively healthy.

That's all well and good when you have a mature 5th year quarterback and a stellar offensive line and a dominant running game.
When you have a young 1st year starter at QB, a mostly new offensive line, the holes might not open up for Chubb as well next year, and Vaughn might not have the time to make all his reads in the pocket, then it comes in handy to have your Go-To Big Time receiver you can flick it to, like Johnny and Mike Evans, or Stafford and AJ, and have the confidence that your receiver is going to come down with it, even if your throw isn't that great.

Sounds like an enlightened opinion.I'm sure it'll taken into
account come draft day.
FWIW he never had a problem in JC or HS holding on to
the ball.
His obvious issues are staying healthy and lack of reps these last 2 years

I don't expect much drop off in the OL next year. We lose a couple of starters and a couple of back ups, but from what I've read the guys coming along behind them are fine. No doubt our new qb will have to learn to make his reads quickly, but we'll have some weapons that give him confidence.
Plus, Ramsey will be in his third year and Bauta in his fourth, so they should know the offense. I do wish we'd give them more experience playing live in spring football. It's a risk, but it helps when the real games start.

Van Jefferson and Terry Godwin will see a lot of PT at WR next year.

I thought Godwin would be a DB

Can Charlie Hegedus be Big Time?

Wasn't Hegedus supposed to be big time this year? Maybe he's our Great White WR hope. Kris Durham. Michael Bennett. Charlie Hegedus?

Aaron Murray had 4 years and couldn't get the job done. Mason doesn't have the TD numbers that Murray did but he also doesn't have the Interception numbers Murray did. Plus if we have Murray we throw the ball a lot more and our running game probably never develops like it did this year.
Murray was a damn good dawg but he had his time and never got the job done.

Murray also had shite to work for as far as defense (except 2011s stats - which were much worse against the good teams that year). He also didn't have a running game except 2012 (Green and Douglas were our goto RBs for a lot of last year). He also didn't have an OL. I like Mason but Murray had to go out and take many many more risks because unless we were putting up 30+, we weren't winning. And we sure as hell weren't going to do it on the ground except in 2012.

I think Aaron Murray was as good as any qb Georgia's ever had. It's hard to compare because there are so many variables, but Murray made his reads, found the pen guy and delivered the pass very fast. When he had healthy receivers and semi-decent protection, nobody wanted to defend that offense.
It's impossible to know how good Mason would have been with a couple more years as a starter, but I don't think he could have ever done the things Murray was asked to do. I'm pretty sure Murray could have done everything that Mason has been asked to do, with the possible exception being his height issues with throwing screen passes.
