From a pure talent standpoint:

Drake > Jones > Yeldon > Henry > Tenpenny

Just my opinion.

Jones is the better RB, Henry is the better athlete.

Though, is it really that hard to be technically superior to Henry?

Remember when everyone thought Henry was incredible after the Sugar Bowl?

With Drake injured, Jones is our best RB.

Liked Tyren the most out of the 4 RBs we signed coming out of high school. Great vision and feet. Honestly wouldn't mind seeing him getting some of Henry and/or TJ's touches moving forward.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.......as Jones and Henry bring different attributes to the table.

I will say this........Drake, Henry, and Jones are 3 different types of RBs and probably the "paradigm" on how you should recruit the RB position in order to have players that complement each other.

Very tough for a defense to prepare/scheme for such a trio moving forward in 2015.

Not sure how you could say that as we really haven't seen enough of Jones to make that call. We all thought Henry was the best RB last year after watching a few of his explosive plays. My ranking of our RB's would be

1. Yeldon
2. Drake
3. Henry

The rest all have talent, but just not enough work to really rank them accurately.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say since both have been on campus for two years and have been to several dozen practices, hundred of weigh training sessions, countless film sessions and a similar number of position meetings that the coaches have the depth chart slotted appropriately.

Jones may end up being better, but he is not better as of today.

Threads like this which seemingly can't take into account the differences in situations give me headaches.

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. You have no idea if he is or isn't because THEY AREN'T PLAYING THE SAME GAMES.

And last year Henry was greater than Yeldon.

Going into next season am I a lot less comfortable with our rb situation compared with the past 6/7 years.

I wouldn't mind seeing us use 3-4 backs per game similar to LSU and Auburn does it. I wonder why we don't do that?
