I went through the recruitment process as a recruit.

It's a cutthroat business, it sucks at times and it's awesome at times. Players will get their feelings hurt and if they can't get over a school dropping them then they are too weak minded to play football anyways.

Grow some fricking balls kids and don't be a pussy. Plenty of schools out there

Geez this is akward for you... in that exact link is this....
quote:

Denise Fletcher, mother of Thomasville (Ga.) High star Mario Mathis, said there has always been an agreement between her son and Ole Miss that the scholarship offer is contingent on his health. He underwent knee surgery for a torn ACL in early January. When Mathis visited Ole Miss recently, it was obvious he was still having difficulty moving. Freeze, in agreement with Mathis and his parents, released the player from his Rebels' commitment. The scholarship offer stands if Mathis returns to full strength. "Ole Miss has never been anything but honest with Mario," Denise Fletcher said. "He's not guaranteed a scholarship anywhere unless he can play on that leg. You can't give a scholarship to someone who can't physically play. It's ridiculous to think otherwise."

Mario Mathis

... Seems there was an agreement in place. And the athlete was aware of it... Not caught off guard or EE.. And he was contacted by freeze... So no, no not the same thing.

Could see pulling a scholly if MSU was recruiting a state like Wisconsin.

Pulling a scholly from a kid in Dallas, Texas 16 days before graduation is like cutting your own throat in recruiting.

The competing Coaches will be sure parents of other Texas recruits hear about this. Bad move Mullen.

Actually, he has until December 19th. After that, you can't sign until NSD.

Exactly NSD is still months away. the fake aggie tears over a kid not being able to claw his way out of Texas and make it to the big time at MSU is amusing to say the least.

State has 1 good yr and now they are yanking schollies. Nice job, Mullen. When yall are back in the cellar next year, doing this shite won't help the perception.

After reading all 10 pages I've come to one conclusion.

Aggies feel legitimately threatened by State's success.

Nobody knows the deal with Virgil. Mullen is doing him a favor by not publicly stating the reason. Virgil knows he screwed up. His coaches know too. Trying to beat everyone to the Twitter is a childish move. Texas HS coaches aren't really known for their character though. They're just pissed they got a dose of their medicine. And Hines was gonna recommit anyway. This issue just lets have a smokescreen.

You tried to challenge me by claiming my coach did something just as despicable as your coach.. I proceed to completely roast you with your own evidence ... And this is what you reply with?

Deflect and defer. Why are you changing topics?
You make point i make counterpoint, you claim but hurt.

And if you are insinuating i think mullen is an arrogant POS then well

You want to believe that this actually has any importance in recruiting outside of Virgil and his apparent butt buddy and it's fun to watch your obsession.
