Impressively immature

I think your talents should be taken back over to ED...

State fan here.. I believe the home team has won 12 of the last 14 games? Something near that anyway. A couple weeks ago I felt stronger towards Ole Miss. I hate that Ole Miss has suffered the injuries because I do not want to win that way, but I do feel better about State's chances now. Should be a good game.

I'm not sure what the recovery is for a partially torn right bicep is (That is what was reported right?), but I wouldn't think three weeks is long enough for him to "be fine".

If we can get some depth this offseason on the offensive line, we are going to be nasty on offense next year.

Losing the best statistical quarterback in OM history won't slow y'all down at all.

Then again there is no way your rushing attack will be as terrible next year as it has been this year, right?

Saw a composite of computer predictions that averaged out with OM having 60% chance to win. Starting to think computers are more accurate than humans on that. Home field advantage is huge in that rivalry because neither school ever gives the other school many tickets. Nothing would surprise me at this point though

Vince Sanders is pretty damn good. Our hopes rely on him and Dr Bo burning you through the air like we did last time we played in Oxford. Our offensive strength is your weakness. Hopefully that and a lack of cowbells pull us through.

The Ole Miss fan in the elevator with me this morning was confident.

Seriously, I"m nervous about this game. I feel like both teams will be ready to play and it will be a hard fought battle.

Well, you are a sloot. Why wouldn't he be confident in something so easy?

But seriously...

I'm certainly not confident, but you guys definitely shouldn't be confident. You have a great defense, but it's been abused lately by good rushing teams. State is 3rd in the sec in rushing offense. The bigger concern has to be your best offensive player's (tunsil) health. Your second best offensive player is definitely out.

Again, I'm not calling a state win yet

Very good. Home team nearly always wins in the Egg Bowl. State hasn't beaten an Ole Miss team with a winning record in Oxford in almost 20 years.

1998? 16 years. Really 14 years, since we haven't played there in 2 years.

To be fair, in those 14 years, only twice out of 7 Egg Bowls in Oxford has Ole Miss even had a winning record going in (2000, 2008). So State hasn't had many chances.

Think whatever you want to think.

I'll be in Oxford for the Egg Bowl and will report back with how the trip went.

Cool. I live here. I'll be at the hospital every single day of that week working, weekend included

It's ok, I'll get off for a few hours for thanksgiving lunch and I'll make sure to clear some time so that I get off to go to the game. Really not looking forward to next week to be honest, even though its the egg bowl

Tunsil didn't play against Auburn, did he? Ole Miss was able to move the ball pretty well against AU without Tunsil.

I'm feeling a little better about State's chances than I was earlier in the season, but I'm still not confident about beating OM in Oxford.

State should so much riding on this Egg Bowl that we will push hard the entire game. This isn't 2012, when State had already lost a few in a row and limped into Oxford.
