With the talent pool and hunger for offense... looks like a deadly combination.

Would they be willing to go from one piece of trash to another?

The only way I would see him leaving is if he doesn't think Baylor will have a good team next year
Baylor will be doing a little bit of rebuilding next year

Haven't both Briles and Patterson said they're never leaving Texas?
Plus, while their systems would be nice, they haven;t ever recruited the state of Florida or the Southeast, let alone in the manner that would require success at UF.

They need to go after Gary Patterson...if nothing else, so we can be entertained by the or one of goldennugget's many alters.
Also, we play Dayton on the 20th, your LSU logo change is a bit premature.

Art Briles is a legend in the State of Texas for his success as a high school and college coach. I have heard multiple interviews where he said he will never leave the state. Never is a strong word, but Briles will not leave the State of Texas IMO, ever.

I would love nothing more. Get to laugh at Baylor while they face dive back into irrelevance, a yearly loss for lolsu. Somebody get me Jeremy Foley on the phone, let's get this done.

Art Briles is not leaving Baylor for Florida. Hell, he turned Texas and their big-arse pile of money down in favor of Baylor just last year. He is staying the course he started alongside Ken Starr with building a powerhouse in Waco.

No they don't. They need another defensive coach with no head coaching experience.

Either Patterson or Briles would be a home run. I hope they end up with Lane Kiffin.

Briles and Patterson are both making 5mil already, have zero pressure and are in a cupcake conference right now.
Please tell me what UF can offer?

Briles actually said last year that when the talk of coaching other places comes up he listens because afterall its business first and he was intrigued if he his offensive system could work at other schools or the NFL. The problem is Baylor already pays him 4.5 million a year. Foley would have to throw 6.5 at the minimum for him to even think about it.

I thought the PTB at tu decided that pulling a coach from Baylor was beneath them, so they didn't offer him...no?

They'll never admit it but they begged him just like they begged Saban and 3-4 others before picking their "first choice" Charlie
