This is amusing to me because I just sat and listened to a butt hurt Auburn fan bitch and moan for the last 30 minutes about how horribly she was treated during the game. Oddly enough, I believe her but yet, do not feel sorry for her. Why you may ask... Because she weaseled her way into the student section where she cheered on the Tigers in Blue and Orange. Sorry dear, but you were asking for that.

That's pretty funny. Extra credit for creativity.

You missed the point that I have been to other schools and my worst experience was at UGA. Of course other schools have bad fans, just so happened that UGA was above and beyond. I am not an idiot and saying that "all UGA fans are horrible!". That is not the case and most of my friends are UGA fans.

Verbal harassment? Just laugh it off it isn't a big deal. If I saw a physical altercation or spitting on opposing fans I would be the first to tell the cops about it.

Spit on me and you lose teeth. Right there no warning. We both get locked up and hopefully in the same cell.

I was at the game Saturday in Auburn attire. We got there really early Saturday and visited many of the bars and walked around town for hours. We were never verbally abused or rude to in any way. I wouldnt say they were the most hospitable fans I have ever had the chance to be around but were not hostile by any means.

At this point, with outlandish stories like these, people are going to have a hard time believing you. It's not church. You are going to get heckled at a rival's stadium. Get over it and quit exaggerating (not really aimed at you). I think the real point is that it's petty and pathetic to cry like little bitches when you get your shite pushed in and people see it as sour grapes. Just take your beating like a man and move on (again, not really aimed at you). Exactly what does ill treatment have to do with anything. Kind of funny you never hear this after a victory. Too many pussies in this world.

After almost 20 years of going to every single home game in Athens, I have seen just a couple of incidents. They usually involved dawg on dawg.

I can't call posters saying that had issues a liar but amazing those of us that go to nearly every game have never seen it.

When I travel to away stadiums, I use common sense on how to stay out of trouble.

Ok, so that's why 10k people left at the same time. I was wondering about that.

They left for the same reasons UG fans a few weeks back in Jacksonville.

But I wore a Georgia Tech shirt into Mellow Mushroom in Athens during the Kentucky game. Maybe it's because UG wasn't playing Tech, but no one noticed or said anything to me.

Exactly. I mean, hell, I will yell at an opposing team's fan all day long but I'm also a relatively small female so I doubt I'm too intimidating.

Worst experiences I've ever had were in JAX where a grown man (and UF fan) came over to me and ground the heel of his boot into the top of my foot for absolutely no reason. Also had all 4 tires slashed after a Dawg victory. I think it's just sour grapes.

There was one time me and my buddies beat down a 90 year old blind quadriplegic with Down's syndrome that was wearing an Auburn shirt. After we were done, we all urinated on her. For the grand finale, she was drawn and quartered on Broad St. Other than that, I haven't really experienced any incidents outside of your normal rape and murder of rival fans. Nothing that doesn't happen anywhere else.

It seems you have taken this open letter stuff pretty hard. It's one fricking letter from one fan.

And most likely, you aren't tailgating in an area where it happens. Stupid shite goes down at every school on gameday, not saying what the letter writer said is 100% accurate, but don't act like there aren't shitty fans that do stuff like this.

I've had really bad experiences at LSU and USC. One bad experience at UGA but I've been to AU 4 times and never had a bad experience. I've never even been cussed at over there. I did see one stupid barner acting like he was jerking off yelling at Bama folks walking by (crazed look in his eyes). But other than that AU was great to visit.

Doesn't count when talking your own place.

I've only been to UGA when we beat them. Once in 85 (Shula come back victory) and the 08' beat down. You guys were subdued.

Sounds to me like he crossed paths with the "Light Patch Mafia". If this is the case and he is still able to effectively communicate one of two things happened. A. He was allowed to live in order to spread the word that we......I mean they are not to be fricked with, or B. He willingly gave his women to us....I mean them for safe passage while on our...I mean their turf.

UG fans are well behaved in their own state. Letter is bullshite. Had this been at the WLOCP, I'd believe it.

Why is this fun? Never understood this, and that goes for AU fans as well. I tailgate to hang out with friends, meet new people and drink beer. I have never seen the appeal for screaming at random people walking by.

depends on age I'd imagine.

When I was in college getting liquor hammered I would talk mad crap to other fans (no females or old people though). Now that I'm in my late 20s I'm like you, I just want to hang out with friends and enjoy myself. I couldn't be less concerned with what other fans are doing.
