How does Miss State have a pass defense ranked 121st? Holy crap. And that's in the SEC where we try to run the ball first. I don't think I've ever seen a SEC team with that lousy a stat. WTF bulldogs? Y'all usually have a pretty decent defense. But I don't think you can cover a bag of cement much less the likes of Cooper, White, and Jones.

A lot of that is them getting out to a comfortable lead and giving up the cheap passes as the opposing team plays catch up and abandons the running game.

Just always have a big lead and our run defense is pretty good. Teams playing catch-up the whole game. We have been passed on more than anyone in the conference.

this is probably true alot of second half garbage time stats

Only give up 52% completion rate though. Teams have passed 396 times against us. 100 more than Bama

Advanced stats like MSU's pass D a lot more than that.
They aren't as good as LSU or Ole Miss, but they aren't that bad. They are adequate.
