After the shite show he inherited in 2012, I wouldn't blame this kid for running away from Auburn. He stood in there and got his arse beat down. After Gus came in, Nick showed up, he could have walked away. He didn't. He went to 3rd on the depth chart, held clip boards, held for the kicker...anything for the team. fricking true definition of an Auburn man.

And if you disagree, I'll meet you at the Sonic of your choice and beat you like a rented mule.

Jonathan Wallace is the man. He was one of the very few who did not give up in 2012. The man has my utmost respect.

Absolutely. Totally agree. Sometimes it doesnt work out, but the man decided he loved Auburn. I respect and appreciate that more than anything.

I hope JW gets his degree and does well for the rest of his life.

Kodi Burns like. He is a kid that doesn't get the respect I think he deserves.

If he doesn't become a GA somewhere something is wrong. *

*Exceptions for getting involves with ministry. He is extremely active in FCA

You're not going to get anyone to argue with you. The kid has undoubtedly stuck with the team through thick and thin and deserves all the props in the world. I'd buy him a drink before any other player on this team, just as I would have Kodi Burns

This kid has weathered the storm, nothing but respect for him. Hope it's ok to post a picture I took from the game.

The only thing I care to remember about the 2012 campain is JW and Tre Mason playing with heart and toughness even while on a sinking ship.

Still wish we would have used him last year instead of burning JJ's redshirt. He would have been just fine playing Western Carolina last year.

Hindsight and all that.

If Marshall was seriously injured against Ole Miss or Florida Atlantic or any other game later in the year and wasn't able to finish the season, we would have been sitting at 3/4-1 in conference play with our best backup QB having zero experience.

Appreciate his commitment to excellence. His effort in 2012 was tangible a mist a sea of disaster.

I remember AL.com posted interviews with Frazier, Moselely, and Wallace in the midst of the 3-way QB battle in August 2012. Moseley talked about his shoulder injury getting better, and Frazier was excited about a couple of days off. Jonathon was the only one that was clearly excited about the opportunity but playing down the pressure. Clear to me he should have gotten the job right there! Love the kid! He will go far!
