That is a hell of a picture. Looks like they're playing in the middle of a downpour. JW is always by the side of gus and RL. Get the impression that he's being groomed to coach

Thanks, it was raining pretty hard after that lighting delay. I have also heard he is being groomed to be a coach.

I noticed the email address at the bottom, are you a professional photographer?

I'm trying to get established as one so I can shoot from the sidelines hopefully next year.
This kid has weathered the storm, nothing but respect for him. Hope it's ok to post a picture I took from the game.

Actually most pro's work on slowing down the swing and syncing up the body and arms. You start losing directional control and distance when you don't control that relationship.

I would trust LSU to get the job done.
Hopefully my post is welcome on this topic.

Why are people ignoring the fact that the marine was waiting on the football players outside to start another round? To me he is a threat that wants to do me harm and how do I know if doesn't have a knife or gun to use on me? I wouldn't think twice about taking him down and making sure he is down because he is a threat to my safety.

Another item for discussion is why wasn't the marine charged with the felony? If the marine had robbed a bank and his buddies were shot and killed while doing so he would be facing murder charges, so why isn't he facing the felony charges now?

Chizik, I like his approach. Hire the best people and let them do what they do best.

You guys are all missing the point of what a great caddie does. The best example is John Daly winning the PGA without ever seeing the course. Squeaky guided Daly around that place to perfection. He also was able to club Daly right on the money after seeing him hit it a few times on the range.

Stevie earned his money with Tiger by being able to put the right club in his hands more times then not. That is extremely difficult when you are dealing with a player like Tiger that has multiple swing speeds. The other thing is the caddie is another set of eyes that can help you make adjustments during the course of play.
Hopefully he wakes up on the backside.
Late to the thread.

Knowing several professional golfers no way the top 20 ncaa guys beat the top 20 pga guys day in and day out. The top 20 from the pga can get the ball up and down from anywhere or manage their games enough to avoid trouble. Ball striking doesn't vary that much from #1 to #300 on tour it is all the other stuff that varies.

Another interesting stat is only three golfers have earned their tour cards in the last 20 years by making enough money in 6 sponser invitations. Those golfers were Justin Loenard, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods. I bring this up because it is easy to play on tour when you are still in college and not have to worry about paying the bills. Worrying about making a check adds another level of pressure to the game.

I also remember getting Meg Mallon one afternoon.

:wha:

All kidding aside Meg was a great golfer back in the day, but her appearance was the limiting factor.

I don't know if she is still on tour but Kris Tschetter was always nice to look at and she had fun interacting with her fans during the round.
Boo ham's it up for the people and besides why do we work? It's to enjoy the things we like doing the most. I have no problem with him taking time off to go huntin or fishin.
Panye was misunderstood by many because of his ADHD. But those closest to him loved the guy faults and all.
I finally think he is ready mentally. The guy is one of the best ball strikers on either tour. He just needed some extra time to grow up mentally.
