Only 1 Big 6 member didn't even play for a BCS title.

Well, since this is the first year ever, for the playoff poll, I guess MSU is the best team ever in college football history.

NCs are the only measure of relevance. Ours was a while back, but 16 years more relevant than UGA's.

No, I know what you guys are referring to, and you're a bunch of dumbasses struggling for an identity. If you were really confident in your programs you wouldn't be longing for a stupid designation. That's something a bunch of high school pussies would do.
Plus, none of you individual dicksniffers ever accomplished a thing.... other than being dumbasses.

College football didn't exist before this season.

For what it's worth, MSU was actually an original member of the Big 6, but was later evicted:
CHARTER MEMBERS OF THE BIG SIX (SEC titles in parentheses)
Alabama (1933, '34, '37)
Tulane (1934, '39)
LSU (1935, '36)
Tennessee (1938, '39, '40)
Georgia Tech (1939)
Mississippi State (1941)

You do realize the conference itself came up with the moniker? Dont you?

The first non-big6 SEC title in 50 years would warrant some modification. Being that the "Big 6" all have multiple titles in that time period, it would not warrant full-fledged inclusion, but should warrant exclusion from the little 8.

I think that the SEC office tries to discourage its use. The media does push it though:

Win the first playoff era NC and you can exit the little 8,and be on the Big 6 bubble.
