Did Famous Jameis have similar problems at Hueytown?

I had heard a little bit about something many years ago, but it didn't seem like much. I heard the kid was as talented as they come, and saw this first hand but dumb as a brick.Basically just a good ole country boy with a rocket arm.
However, I was talking to a guy this weekend from that area and he said that Jameis actually had these same issues of self entitlement, etc at Hueytown, and there were multiple similar legal problems, etc. Described him as kinda a Jekell & Hyde character. This guy is a recruiter for another SEC school so it could be sour grapes, but he generally knows his shite and the kids from his area.
Is anyone on here from Hueytown or that area and know anything about this?

I hate him, but I'm pretty sure he had a 4.0 and took 3 AP classes while at Hueytown, so I'm not sure what your source is.

Jameis is NOT from Hueytown, he only went to HS in Hueytown.

I stated this before, I have an employee whose niece was in the same class as him. He said that similar things had happened. However, this is secondhand hearsay, so TIFWIW.

yes--nothing like this. But I know some people who coached him in little league. They said you could tell when he was 7 or so, he had the "it" factor. Not too much like any other 5* in school. Sassed a lot of coaches and scooted by with things.

Fwiw I've heard the similar rumors that many things were swept under the rug. Also that these things may come to light in the near future

I would imagine whatever he did that could have been exposed would have after he didn't commit to an instate school, or after he beat one of those instate schools in the natty

Didn't you claim in the atpb thread to be a bag man in Mississippi as a child?

The big sports radio guy here in Memphis, Chris Vernon, said when he was in Birmingham for SEC media days that when talking to some of the guys who covered Jameis in high school that none of them were surprised that the kid seems to constantly be in trouble. They said he was insanely cocky and acted like the rules didn't apply to him.
