Feel bad for TCU fans this season.

When you think about it, it's really a hard pill to swallow for TCU. I can't imagine having arguably their best team in half a century, and being just overshadowed by a better in state school. I think both teams are doing well and both fan bases have a lot to be happy about, but that has to really chap their asses.
Having to go into work every day, being cordial with your rival, has to be a hard one to choke down. That fake sense of respect you would have to show, knowing they are just a little bit ahead, could really grind at you.

Feel bad for them on a different board, crybaby.

I can't feel bad for a team that gives up 58 points and still loses. That defense alone should disqualify them as their best team in half a century.

change "half a century" to ever, and "in state" to "same division" and you have 2011 LSU.

I know we're actually talking about Ole Miss but I don't care.

Agreed, plus knowing that one of the juggernauts from a neighboring state (e.g., Oklahoma) will still win the conference even though you beat them. Sucks for those little schools having their historic seasons knowing it still won't be good enough. Poor TCU and Baylors of the world.

They still have the coolest jerseys. Purple rain.

Unlike TCU, we have not yet had the opportunity for this to be proven.
Also unlike TCU, we get to play said instate rival at home, a place they have beaten us once in 16 years, a season which saw us win 4 games and them win 9.
And finally, unlike TCU, we are going to beat our annoying instate neighbor quite comfortably.
Enjoy your sense of entitlement while you can. I assure you that it doesn't bother me not being ranked 1st midway through the season. It gives our team something to be hungry for, rather than playing tense.

you sound pretty unbothered.
