I was watching the link Ross posted and didn't realize how we were lined up for this play.
LINK
Was a pretty cool play. For those that didn't know like me Hint: Look for Coleman and the announcers explain the play afterword.

Sigh, when I opened it on my ipad it started from the beginning. First world problems.

Oh yeah I remember that last night. That's what happens when you have an offensive genius as a coach.

Was he lined up as left tackle with Coleman on the right in tight end spot?

We've run the play before, or variations of it. Usually the HB is the target, though this time Uz was wide open.

I think Louis was the target but he got bumped off his route at the line.

When I opened the link it starts at the end of the play before Uzomah's TD.

I also liked his tribute/version of the 'Lutzie'.

I also like Uzomah's lutzie dance

They were running in parallel though Louis wasn't in the endzone. Think it was designed so that either was an option for NM - just depended on who was covered?

Kind of a shitty Lutzie. I didnt realize thats what that was until after the game. Very cool for CJ to do that. I think he was close to the Lutzenkirchen family.
I went to the tribute ceremony at Lassiter HS after Lutz passed, and Mike Lutzenkirchen mentioned him by name along with a few other of "his boys".

What the frick is this? Dancing With the Stars?
So you didn't award CJ a 10?

Yeah I did. On heart alone.
I honestly didnt recognize what he had done there until after the fact. I dont care what or how he does it now that I know thats what it is and where his heart is at.

That is really the wildcat formation from 2009 when Kodi would run it. It was always based on where the OL would line up, not who took the snap and who was in motion.

The announcers acted like it was some kind of clever trick. Doesn't anybody who played high-school ball for like 2 weeks know how to tell who the eligible receivers are? It's not that frikkin complicated.
They just screwed up. We didn't trick em.

I wouldn't have recognized it as the Lutzie if y'all hadn't said something.

I said it as soon as it happened. A lot of people did in the game thread. But then again I notice random shite.
