Auburn fan here. A friend of mine is an LSU guy and he had an extra ticket to tonight's LSU-NMSU game and invited me. I have wanted to check out Death Valley for a while so I'm looking forward to going.
Any advice about wearing AU gear (AU is playing today and I want to reprepsent my school)? I"m a pretty low key guy and won't bbe starting any trouble, plus I'll be w/ LSU people.

Trade that ticket for a game against an sec opponent.
I think you will be underwhelmed because of last week and the opponent.

You'll be fine. Even wearing the auburn shirt, but I wouldn't choose to wear that unless you're just dead set.
It won't be a great environment tonight. Probably plenty of empty seats. The new addition looks great though.

Glad that you get to experience Death Valley, but the opponent is weak. I would strongly recommend going for a big sec as mentioned

B/c I want responses from people from other schools who have been.
And yeah, the timing kind of sucks and I know the atmosphere won't be great b/c it is a crappy opponent and since LSU lost last week. But it is still a night game in Baton Rouge. Will be my sixth SEC stadium.

I wouldn't worry about wearing Auburn stuff one bit fwiw.
I've been plenty of times with friends and family wearing their alma mater's colors and all it ever does is start a conversation.

Actually I've been to a game at Clemson's Death Valley. And yes, it was really cool. Probably my third favorite after Auburn and Florida.

That's what I figured. I'm going to be friendly and I'm there to check out their stadium, but people just talk so much about some of the LSU fans. I know most of the stuff people post is crap, but figured I would check.
And FWIW most of the LSU fans I have met in real life are cool. Looking forward to checking out the experience even if it isnt for a big game.

Hope you have a great time. I too am touring the SEC stadiums. Here the new addition looks great
