Amari Cooper's Heisman Chances

I think he's got a legit shot to win it only if:
-Mariota and the Ducks lose a game/ get held out of the playoff (sort of likely)
- Jameis continues being Jameis. Honestly with his current stats and the suspension he SHOULD be done, but of course him being a dumbass will be looked as adversity and not poor character. (highly likely he continues being a dumbass, and his current stats are 3 TDs and 2 INTs with 600 yards.)
- Gurley and Georgia don't win the East, and he doesn't put up godly numbers (somewhat likely to likely)
- Someone stops Kenny Hill from putting up numbers/ aTm doesn't win the west (unlikely he gets stopped numbers wise, but somewhat likely they lose the west)
- Golson doesn't get the obligatory Notre Dame votes/ Notre Dame doesn't run the table (unlikely to even)
- Someone doesn't notice Ameer Abdullah (pretty likely)
- Alabama runs the table (meh, even.)
So, what are your stipulations for a Cooper, a WR to win the Heisman trophy this year? And yes I made a thread.

He doesn't. West is too good. In order for a receiver to win it he has to be putting up 150 a game. Sims would probably get it before Cooper would,

You don't have to worry about Jameis that's for damn sure

He will need 2000 yards and 18 TDs.

He is putting up more than that.

I think it would be pretty cool if Amari won it. Larry Fitzgerald got screwed at Pitt. But the voters have gotten a little more open-minded since then.

I don't think he will win it. I do think an argument could be made for him being the best football player in CFB though.

It's Jake Coker's to lose right now.

If he even gets remotely close to 2,000 yards, he should win it in a landslide

Evans was putting up sicker numbers in september a year ago.

I think even if his average dips down to 120-130, and Alabama runs the table then he has it. The other players obviously have to lose some credibility but it's a wide open race right now.

and he has already faced the best DB he will face all year.

Because he's played an SEC schedule so far.

Amari Cooper has the talent to win the Heisman. This past week proved it. He went one on one against the best CB in college football and frickin' shined. And props to Sims for getting him the ball. Bama has found an offense.
The rest is just luck. But he deserves to be on the short list, no doubt.

Sims wouldn't win it over Cooper I don't think. People would still doubt Sims even if he put up the number he put up against UF for most of the year. The consensus would be that Cooper is the reason, not Sims.

Amari Cooper completely owned VH3. There's simply no other way to say it. #1 WR vs #1 CB one on one and Cooper dominated. Dude is nasty.
