Why do you feel the SEC will get 2 into the Playoff?

We all know that the SEC is ranked highly and there are at least 4 teams that can legitimately qualify.

But what makes you feel certain there will be 2 teams in the playoff? Especially when the criteria will be winning championships at conference level.

OU, Oregon, FSU all win out or if all have 1 loss who gets bumped?

Asking this based off what you have seen from the teams since season started.

I don't unless Bama finishes 11-1 and does not make the Championship game...

The SEC won't get 2. It's a pipe dream

I dont think we do, especially in the first year. Unless there is some sort of collapse from almost every team, then there will more than likely be only one SEC team

Even a vast majority of SEC fans don't think we'll get two in the playoff.

There wont be two, unless it is Ga and Bama. That is the only possible combination of two SEC teams, and GA would have to run the table.

the impression I get is that this committee's purpose is to guarantee 2 SEC teams playing for it all wont happen again.

If we get anything close to the 2011 season (where the obvious two best teams are both in the SEC), I think the SEC most certainly does get two in the playoff.

However, the odds of that happing are very slim.

I don't see it happening unless things turn to shite in the last 2-3 weeks of the season.

I don't. This system was designed to keep that from happening. A one loss Big 12 or Pac 10 team gets in over a second SEC team with the same record.

We are barely 20% into this season.

How about we table this conversation until we get at least 75% of the way through it.

no way the SEC gets 2 in the playoff and getting one may be a close call.

BYU plays nobody, Baylor hardly plays anyone. FSU almost has a cakewalk.

we will be beating each other and ,imo, the SEC haters are gonna come out in droves.

fortunately, the BIG 10 sucks this year.
