shite's moot at this point.

It definitely sucks but unfortunately that's not the reason we lost the game.

What exactly is the point of this exercise since it doesn't change anything?

I know we are all tired of the commiseration.
Nonetheless, it was a pivotal call. And while it is a moot point in terms of the decided outcome, you would hope that if this turns out to be our only loss (Big IF, I know) that the selection committee would take into consideration that this turned the game.
Now onward. Go Dawgs

To hold the officials accountable when they make stupid calls that drastically alter a game.

Referees watch film too so this allows them to see the calls they missed and helps them going forward.

This is simply not helping us or our team. Really hate all of this is playing out in the media. At the end of the day, our defense got crushed and THAT is why we loss...not the Holding call or the grounding.
Lets move on. Moral Victories don't win championships.

It was a questionable call but there were calls that worked in our favor as well. It also was a momentum swinger as well but we still should have found a way to win. We had the opportunity to take the lead on the four yard line we just did not execute. Nothing to do now but move on and improve, win our games and hope for some help along the way. I refuse to give up on the season.

From the article: "However, sources familiar with the communications between the two parties indicate that there should have been no penalty on the play."
That's some seriously weak anonymous sourcing, too. Hell, it doesn't even say that these sources were actually familiar with the substance of the communications. Spilt milk, anyway.

As a practical matter, the grounding call is good to get an explanation on. I am sure that will be a learning lesson for Mason.
It took Murray two years to properly learn when to throw the damn ball away. He never really struggled with the how part though.

Really?! Reverse those two calls and we're having conversations on how the Dawgs will run the table.
