they've played some top flight receivers for sure.
I don't care if you're playing blind sister's of the poor, 9 quarters of shutout football is impressive. This D is built to stop spread offenses, but power running team will give them big problems unless the Dline steps up their play big time.

Their Dline isn't what he have been used to from them. For all his veins, Hunter really isn't that impressive.
True we lack an imposing pass rusher. However, we have 11 bodies we can roll in at four positions. The interior of the line, in particular, has been bolstered even from what you say against UW (several DTs were suspended for that game).

There are definitely reasons for optimism here. For starters, we are deeper at DT than we were last year (Lacouture, Godchaux, Thomas, Herron, Bain, plus Neal who plays inside-out, and finally Gilmore who looks like the odd man out of the rotation). That's a lot of bodies to rotate in the interior.
What we need is another Kevin Minter - hard nosed linebacker who runs downhill at ball carriers and hits like a truck. God I miss him. Welter is getting better but he will never be Minter. Maybe Beckwith can be.

They'll stop him whenever it matters but he will get his so no shut out. State knows how to keep it close against LSU but thats all they'll accomplish. Tigers win, bruh.

It's possible if we don't turn the ball over.

I don't think it's a shutout,I think they will allow maybe two scores. 31-14 LSU

If I were Louisiana State, I wouldn't even bother thinking about this game. Better off resting your starters and saving your intensity for NMSU.

Too bad you're going to get a fully focused LSU team and an even more revved up Tiger Stadium. Have fun with this one.

no team will score on LSU again...you can take that to the bank.
