So the SEC has a new network but no SEC game on Thursday night

I need a college football fix and I have already seen the SEC storied stuff they have scheduled tonight.
Would be nice to have 1 SEC game on the SECN on thursday night.

This isn't the ACC. Leave Thursday night games to the Louisvilles, Boston Colleges and Georgia Techs of the world. Thursday night games suck arse

frick that. It's a major inconvenience to attend Thu games. Let the shitty conferences play Thu and you can watch them. Don't waste one of my Saturday games

There's only about 5 schools in the SEC who are capable of hosting a Thursday night football game anyway.
South Carolina, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Kentucky.
Every other school would have to be shut down for the day. Couldn't happen.
So, one of those 5 schools would have to host MULTIPLE Thursday night games during the year. Not realistic.

I don't know why any upper tier team from a power conference would agree to host a Thursday night game. You know it pisses off alumni, fricks up parking on campus for the day and leads to tons of students cutting Friday classes. That shite is for the little kids.

LSU used to play Arkansas the day after Thanksgiving.
Now, we'll play Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Night when they host the game and the day after Thanksgiving when we host the game.
