Damien Harris ignored Mark Stoops?

Take it for what it's worth but I had a friend at the game Friday night that said Damien Harris ignored Stoops on two separate occasions.
First, when Stoops landed in the helicopter, everyone was going wild and he was shaking hands and talking to people. Then he walked up to Harris and Harris just looked at him and turned and walked away.
Second time, Harris scored on a long touchdown run and Stoops met him on the sideline to congratulate him and Harris ran right by him to be with his teammates.
Anyone else heard anything like that?

Is your friend generally honest?

He's a Kentucky fan, so he was actually pretty down about it... He might just be reading too much into it though.

Seems like a pretty disrespectful way to treat a guy offering you a free education and free publicity.

If so I wouldn't want him on my team. Not that I believe the story but things like this have happened in the past and it's really a shitty thing to do.

This story seems suspect at best...

This is pretty much the first I've heard of it and that's knowing some folks who were at the game. I also haven't seen it mentioned on any of the typical boards who cover more UK Football (i.e. Scout, 247) either.
If anything there's been more smoke that Harris may be leaning UK after being in attendance for tOSU loss to the Hokies and not committing while on the visit.
ETA: Harris has also attended several UK games not being far from campus and I've never heard anything bad about his visits. Actually quite the contrary and he's in Lexington quite a bit hanging with the team and such. I'm not going to say he doesn't go elsewhere but from all accounts he doesn't come off as the type that would intentionally treat Stoops that way.

Just texted a buddy of mine on the staff there. He said this is the first he's heard of it.

Just texted Damien, he said he thinks Stoops is a goober, but still likes UK.

Does this mean he's an Aggie Lock?

Isn't there a rule about contact between a prospect and a coach at a football game? I seem to remember Urban having to report a violation for talking to a recruit before a game.
Here it is. There is not supposed to be contact between a coach and prospect during a game

Free you mean he doesn't have to bust his arse on the field and in practice for this "free" education? He can just go to class study and party like the rest of the student body? If so yea that is pretty disrespectful. But if the coach wants him to play football and do everything that goes with playing college football this kid does not owe Stoops anything. Maybe just maybe (if this story is true) the kid didn't appreciate Stoops showing up in a helicopter upstaging him and his teammates?

The guy I talked to may have just been reading too much into what he thought he saw. He was legitimately upset today when I talked to him.
I honestly don't care where he goes, although if he isn't coming to Bama I'd rather see him go to UK than OSU. He had an incredible night Friday with over 300 yds and 4 TD, so he's obviously a beast.

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

Isn't face to face contact off campus considered an in-home visit if you say more than "hello"?

Me thinks that this is nothing more than wishful thinking.

He views Harris as the savior of UK football. He's afraid it means that Harris is going to OSU.

In other news, he's visiting Texas A&M this weekend. Long shot, but great to get an OOS 5* on campus
