And people laughed when McShay put him second overall in his first 2015 Mock Draft.

a wide receiver hasn't gone 1st overall in 30 years and only twice ever, but yeah it's very probable
edit: keyshawn was in 1996, still extremely unlikely

Number 1 or 2 is too high for all but the elitist of talents at WR. Top 5 is usually for QBs, LTs, and pass-rushing DLs.
He could be the first WR taken though and looks like a safe first round pick.

NFL teams dont waste money or #1 picks on WRs..Cooper can be picked up in the teens for a quarter the price.

15-25 in the first round, IMO.

He's the best receiver in the SEC.

Yeah, but he's the third best receiver in the SEC so maybe this is the year.

A swing and a miss.
Coop isn't going #1 though.

He will go first round, but being chosen 1st or 2nd is highly unlikely... I could see in the 5-10 range.
He isn't on par with other wide receivers taken around that high... I like Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, AJ Green, Julio Jones, DeMaryius Thomas (even though he went later), and Calvin Johnson better than Amari Cooper. However, by looking through previous first round wide receivers, teams reached quite often on them.
FWIW, I think it was incredibly stupid to draft Tavon Austin where the St Louis Rams drafted him. Bust city.

He won't crack the Top 10. No later than 20.

It seemed like he was the only WR targeted at times last Saturday.
