No. This season matters. The players out on the field right now matters. Last season don't mean shite.
The polls disagree. Fair system? Maybe not. But it is what it is and is apart of CFB history.

I'd have A&M above all other SEC schools with the exception of Georgia. I think those 2 will see each other in ATL.

Everyone keeps saying UGA looked great... Is that from only seeing the final score and the fourth quarter highlights or actually watching the game?
My discussion with Georgia fans has been gurley is great but hope he doesn't get hurt, not happy with Mason, worried that a real secondary could pick passes off with ease (not sure if they'll ever face one), defense better but tbd.
A&M has defense issues but they still dominated their entire game.

Okie St was much better than I thought they were
I've been saying for weeks now that OkSU was my pick to win the little ten. A team that really surprised me as well was USC. Interested to watch them in the next few weeks.
The SEC teams will sort each other out in the next few weeks. In the meantime, we have to beat the crap out of all the OOC teams for political positioning in the playoffs. We need two teams.

A&M is pretty loaded roster wise. Defense is a little behind our offense
yes, I think it fair to say your defense is behind your offense. using the qualifier "a little" is incredibly delusional. even a trial lawyer would be hesitant to say that.

It's like I'm taking pills reading this board. In one thread Aggies are getting called out for talking too much, then I pop my head in here and see an Aggie orgy.

I agree and us at number two is a total joke. Auburn andGeorgia should be above us.

You do know that they play football outside of the South, right?

Completely agree. If you want to rank teams with no perspective whatsoever, Aggie and Georgia are 1a and 1b.

I am pretty sure in time that Drac will hate A&M more than any other team in college football.

That ineluctable fact gladdens my soul

If he doesn't hate them more than Alabama right now.... In this moment.... Then he never will.

FSU should remain there till they get beat. Now A&M should replace Bama at #2.

The OP is obviously pre-dickriding aTm.
LSU is fricked.

Exactly.
The ESPN "power poll" dropped some teams for looking vulnerable but others they left where they were.
If you are going by what we saw week one, how could you possibly justify Florida State over UGA or A&M? For that matter, LSU had a more impressive win.

Take off the AU glasses for one second.
What was so bad about the first three quarters? Defense looked much improved save a few big plays and Gurley got the ball all of 4 times in the first half. We didn't feed him until we felt like we needed to secure the win and that's what he did for us.
Mason is fine, he can make all the throws we need him to and completed nearly 70% of his passes saturday without two of his best receivers. We didn't pass the damn ball because we didn't need to. I didn't see any passes that "should have been picked off."
A&M had defensive issues... Does that sound like a number one team?
I'm not saying UGA is the best team in the nation, but the hype around us is somewhat warranted when you beat a ranked team by 24 and look very good in all three phases of the game.
