That's funny right there.

I still think the kid playing in traffic deserves what he gets. If it happens to Tony Stewart next time he gets out of the car and acts a fool he asked for it too. It's absolutely retarded to get out of a car and walk in front of another.

Better explaination of how a sprint car works

quote:

ALso, the Earnhardt fatality is a totally different thing because it was an in car crash, right?. Even still though...... I don't remember who it was, but one of the drivers involved in the crash with Senior got out of his car and was the first one to get to Dale. As soon as he looked inside the car, he started waving his arms in a panic for the medics because he could see how serious it was.

The driver (Ken Schrader) who stopped with #3 was involved in the crash and had a damaged car that couldn't make it around. The cars right behind the accident didn't stop either to help. The silver bullet car (Marlin I believe)who turned #3 did not stop on the way by the next lap to help either. And for to say Stewart should have seen him I don't think drivers can turn their heads that much with the side support arms off the seats and the HANS device tethers holding their helmet back. Again, tragic ACCIDENT.

Yeah, so Tony not even charged and Ward's toxicology came back that he was high on weed.

All you clowns who went on a witch hunt after Stewart should be ashamed and eating a fat plate of crow.

Yes, they said based on the levels, he was high at the time of the incident

So predictable…………

This is about as moronic as someone saying, “See! I told you OJ was innocent!!” after the jury verdict was read in the OJ Simpson case…..

All this means is that a grand jury decided there wasn’t sufficient evidence to charge Stewart with a crime. It doesn’t mean Stewart didn’t do any of the things that people have speculated about in this thread which you so cowardly refer to as a “witch hunt”.

I said from the beginning that I didn’t think that Stewart should be charged with a crime. This ruling is not shocking or disappointing in the slightest bit for me. But, it also doesn’t answer a single one of the disturbing questions I have about what happened that night either…………………Stewart is the only one who knows the truth.

I doubt that there's a legal definition for this.......

It could mean that he was baked out of his mind that night, i guess. But, it could also just as easily mean that he smoked a bowl the night BEFORE maybe. We don't know.

Regardless............what does smoking pot have to do with Tony Stewart's actions? How does Ward having some vague levels of marijuana in his system affect Stewart's car?...making him the only one not to slow or to see ward or to make Stewart accelerate or to be the only car unable to avoid hitting Ward?

Have people who are saying this maijuana angle totally absolves Tony Stewart even thought this through?

My incredibly unprofessional guess is the only thing the toxicology report did was make it impossible for a case against Stewart to succeed. I agree with you, Jeff, in that the fact the kid may or may not have been high doesn't really absolve Stewart of anything. I guess, though, is that legally he's pretty much untouchable because of it and a lot of people are now rolling with the idea that Stewart was clearly innocent.

People always want it to be black and white when it's almost always shades of gray.

Now it's time for the civil suit though. I don't think he's getting out of that one

For what? The family raised a kid that walked in front of a moving car.

Rarely is a civil case like this won by a famous/rich defendant.

My opinion is that it was an accident, but if you're asking what I think will happen. Tony will lose a civil case.

You think? Even with the toxicology report? I am not saying being high really should impact it but I figured a good attorney could pretty much rely on reefer madness to win the day. Unless Stewart just wants to pay them off to end it.
