Lots of nonsense in this thread

Plenty of SEC teams would be fortunate to start JJ. We will be on week one.

I like Sean but you guys are sleeping on Jeremy big time

Wait do people actually think White could step in and do a better job than JJ?

seriously I am so fricking pumped...we have two early round huge wide receivers and a very accurate QB

but you all know I have been on the JJ train since early last season

I got on the JJ train in HS. CSS showed him back-to back weeks against Tri-county Ga. (I think was the name) and then Auburn High. He showed me everything you could possibly want in a QB. I was so impressed with him and he hasn't done anything, at Auburn, to make me want to change my mind. He doesn't have Nick's talent running the ball, but I think JJ is a better all around QB than Nick.

Sean White is taller than Jeremy Johnson.

White can be a solid player..... But Johnson has way more potential.

I mean, it's not inconceivable. We haven't seen much from Johnson other than some nice throws against WCU. But I also saw him throw a pretty awful interception in that game, so I'll wait and reserve judgement until he goes against a solid team.

I don't get why so many think white is a can't miss qb prospect. I hope that is true, just not sure where it comes from.

Elite 11 MVP, huge senior season, Under Armour Game MVP, and his main attribute is accuracy, something we haven't really had in a while. I'm still "wait and see" about him, as I am with all QB prospects, but it's easy to see why he's praised

As a true freshman? No. Later down the road? Absolutely.

You haven't seen that much of him if you can't see where it comes from.

if JJ started last year we wouldn't have sniffed Atlanta..much less Pasadena.

While true, the kid was a true freshman last year. Many in this thread seem to be forgetting that.

Everyone who thinks Mincy is not a good CB needs to re-watch the BCSNCG

I think he really improved last season and was very good by year's end.

Only because he did so poorly. Had JJ gone 20 of 21 he would be called the goat

Was Marshall not? When it comes to QB experience Marshall had none more at this level than JJ. Anyone saying that JJ is all around better than Marshall is a dreamer and wisher. He's not and that's why he doesn't start yet. Can he be in the future? Yes he can be. Will he? Remains to be seen but Arkansas will give us our first true glimpse.

I'll take evidence from the 13 games we played before that instead of pulling an opinion based solely on 1 game. Teams targeted his side and there's no denial about it
